You can attend the presentation without going to the dinner. The
technical presentation is always free!

Chairman’s Corner
Hello All,
I hope this AWS bulletin finds everyone in good spirits. Our last Tidewater Section meeting was held April 11. Our speaker was Bill Newell from Euroweld in North Carolina who spoke to our section about his experiences working with and advising NASCAR race teams about welding procedures.
Our next section function is our popular Tidewater Section fish cookout. This event will be held on May 16th at Fort Monroe in shelter 5. For those of you who have attended this event in the past, you know how wonderful this cookout is. Please try to attend this social and enjoy the company of others that share the privilege of being involved in the welding community.
This is our final section event prior to the summer break, I want to thank all of the section board members who give of their time to make our section one of the best in the country. If it was not for their dedication, we would not be able to enjoy the meetings, tours and events we have each year. I hope to see you at Fort Monroe on May 16th.
