• Bethany Kimmet, HR Manager, gave an overview if the history of Worthington Industries, and their Golden Rule and Philosophy
• Chris Kasuba, Product Manger, gave a presentation on cryogenics and cold storage solutions. The facility in Theodore, AL specializes in cryogenic and cold storage solutions and manufactures a complete line of liquid nitrogen freezers, refrigerators, dewar’s and shippers for the life sciences, health care and animal husbandry markets
• Afterwards, attendees were divided into four groups and were given a tour of the facility with their guide explaining the process of manufacturing done at the facility. All attendees were provided with hardhats and safety glasses for the tour
• Total attendance was 49, which included 17 students and 8 instructors
• A special “thanks” goes to Airgas for sponsoring the students and instructors that attended
• A plaque of appreciation was presented to Worthington Industries and accepted by Bethany Kimmet on their behalf
