• District 9 Director Michael Skiles introduced the speaker for the evening, Mr. Dale Flood, AWS National President
• “Mechanizing the Welding Industry”, particularly on cost savings was the topic of discussion
• Total attendance was 62
• A thank gift was presented to Mr. Dale Flood by the Mobile Section and the Pascagoula Section respectfully
• A split the pot drawing was held, the winner, Trey Tomas, walked away with $42, and $42 was raised for the Mobile Section Scholarship fund
• All students in attendance received a pair of work gloves for attending
