Wintzell’s Oyster House – Downtown Meeting

AWS first meeting of the year at Wintzell’s Oyster House! We will be honoring our new scholarship recipients and the memory of our sustaining member of AWS (American Welding Society) for more than 60 years, Ron Pierce.

At our September meeting, we will present this year’s scholarship recipients. We will also remember Ron Pierce who passed away earlier this year. Ron was a long standing member of the Mobile AWS Section and served as President of AWS in 1998 and Chairman Emeritus of the AWS Foundation.

For our speaker, the Mobile AWS Section will host Ms. Monica Pfarr, Executive Director of the AWS Foundation.

Meeting will be hosted at Wintzell’s Oyster House. Tickets are limited for this event.

About the AWS Mobile Section:

The AWS Mobile Section currently serves 670 members across the following areas:

In Alabama to include Mobile, Washington, Choctaw, Clarke, Baldwin, Escambia, Monroe, Conecuh, Covington, Geneva, Coffee, Dale, Henry, and Houston Counties. 

In Florida to include Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Jackson, Washington, Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Franklin, Liberty and Gadsden Counties.
