“Chairman’s Corner” Greetings welding community, I‘d like to welcome everyone back from summer break. I hope you all made it through safely and with great memories. This month’s meeting will be a plant tour of Acoustical Sheetmetal Company. We are starting a little later than normal to allow for the commute. Our meeting will start at 6 pm and run until 8 pm. Our meeting will start with a pizza dinner. If you are running a little late, you’ll be right on time for the tour. We are meeting at 2009 Hudome Way in Virginia Beach 23456. Next meeting will be our annual golf tournament. That will be on Friday Oct 13, 2023. It is always a great way to be outdoors and enjoy the fellowship of friends in our industry. As always, our section is looking for new faces to join our executive/planning committee. If you have any interest in joining, please let any board member know and we will add you to our meeting distribution list. We are also looking for meeting and/or tour ideas for our events.
