AWS SAN FRANCISCO MEETING

Greetings AWS San Francisco Section Members and Friends,

The next meeting of AWS San Francisco Section will take place aboard the SS Red Oak Victory at Richmond CA. Guest speaker Mike Nagamoto will discuss metal sculpture and welding on the Red Oak Victory.

Mike is a retired Berkeley Fire Department Lieutenant (30 years of service), an adjunct welding Instructor at Laney College, and a member of Pile Drivers Local 34. He is a volunteer welder on the Red Oak Victory and a metal sculpture artist.

Plan to come aboard at 6:00 PM, when the no−host bar will open. This will be followed by a brief docent-led tour of the vessel and then the dinner service, consisting of a pasta entrée, salad and dessert catered by Chef Halihl Guy. Mike’s talk will begin following dessert.

COST:
AWS members:  $25.00
Students/Retiree members: $10.00
Non-Members: $30.00
