Welcome Everyone!

We are excited to welcome everyone back to AIDT for our November meeting. Last month’s meeting was a great success with a good turnout. We hope to have everyone back and more! So, please get the word out about our meeting! We will have great food from Café Catering again, and we will be raffling off door prizes for attendees! This year we have given out helmets, gloves, hats, and more. We have prizes donated to us that we will be raffling off again!

This month we are thankful to have Tony Hufford from Weiler Abrasives giving a talk on safe and effective use of portable cutting wheels. Tony Hufford works as a Category Manager for Weiler’s metal fabrication division. He has been in the abrasive industry for 18 years and leads the product development and market research teams for Weiler focused on metal fabrication. He has a vast knowledge of the metal fabrication market learned though voice of customer interviews and countless end user visits. In his career, his team has developed 30+ new abrasive products which have helped increase safety, efficiently and productivity. You may have read one of his articles focused on abrasives over the years in Welding Journal, The Fabricator, F&M and others.
