The October meeting of the AWS Lakeshore Section will be our annual welding education event hosted by Lakeshore Technical College. The event will include live demonstrations by section members of various welding processes, scholarship information for students, and an informational session about how the AWS can help aspiring welders further their education, industry knowledge, and build a professional network.
This year’s event will once again feature a student-welder competition with a $1,000 scholarship for the top welder!
Section members are encouraged to come see the latest additions to the welding program at LTC and interact with students who are interested in joining the welding field.
The Welding Lab is located in the PEM Building, see map in the Flyer.
