AWS Green and White Mountains section will be having a CAREERS IN WELDING NIGHT, in honor of next generation of welders. We are asking welders that would like to give back to the industry, to come talk about what we are doing in our welding careers, we already have couple people available to talk, and share some of their welding projects (Geoff Putnam with pieces from the World Skills Competition, and Aaron Emmons with a mini race car and some art work). Also we will be talking about what is the AWS, watching some videos, and how to find out about scholarships. So come draw in some “NEW BLOOD”, talk about what you do, bring a welding project that you have done, or just come see what going on in the welding world. Either way, this should be a lot of fun, and a good way to fire up those kids!

After we watch a couple flicks, we can walk around the workshop look at projects, talk and mingle, there will be coffee and snacks.

All AWS section meetings are open to the public, members and non-members alike. And bring those kids, or anyone who wants to learn more about welding.
