Event Summary: On Wednesday, April 22nd Moraine Park Technical College hosted a welding competition for students at their Fond du Lac Campus. The AWS Fox Valley Section helped promote the event, provided judges, and gave away a $1,000.00 scholarship. Metalcraft of Mayville also donated $1500.00 in scholarship prizes. Other donations were provided by Lincoln Electric, Linde, Matheson and many others.

Jack Kirsch was the winner of the competition and received a $1,000.00 scholarship from the AWS. Jack is pictures with District 12 Director, Ben Newcomb
Esteban Mendoza Herrera received his plaque for being awarded the District Educator award. Esteban is pictured with District 12 Director Ben Newcomb and Fox Valley Section Vice-Chairman, Noah Heimmermann.
