EASTERN IOWA SECTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Demo of Laser Welding – Hosted by Miller Electric and Davenport Airgas

Our AWS Eastern Iowa Sections has a unique opportunity coming up where Miller is bringing their Weld Training Trailer and handheld laser welding equipment to Davenport, IA for a demo day.

Customers will be allowed a 1-hour time slot for 1 on 1 time with Miller and hands-on time with the equipment. Miller is encouraging customers to bring material to weld on that they are curious about how Laser Welding will do with it. If customers do not bring their own material, Miller will have weld coupons available. The goal is to get handheld laser welders exposed to anyone interested and have some discussions around applications.

When: Tuesday, 3/04/25
Time Frame: 1 Hour Time Slots Between 2pm and 5pm (reservations are first come first serve)
Location: Davenport Airgas Branch – 4919 Tremont Ave, Davenport, IA.
