2022 AWS Alberta Section Scholarship
is Open for Applications

May 1st Deadline

The AWS Alberta Section Executive is pleased to announce that the 2022 AWS Alberta Section Scholarship is open for applications. The objective of the scholarship program is to support individuals attending an accredited technical college, institute, or university in Alberta with an emphasis on welding applications or studies. We are pleased to have $12,750(USD)in total scholarship amounts available in 2022. In previous years we’ve provided multiple awards to Welders, Technologists and Engineering students across Alberta.

Also, since we are part of AWS District 19 there are additional National and District-level scholarship that you may be eligible for, including the Jerry Hope Scholarship.

The Application Process is Easy!

You apply for all eligible scholarship by filling out one (1) application through the AWS online portal: scholarship.aws.org

Please register on this AWS portal and submit your application by the May 1st, 2022 deadline (or March 1st as applicable).
