AWS Student Memberships and Student Chapters: Information and Benefits

Dear Students, Instructors, and Educators,

Hope all had a safe, healthy and Happy Holiday season (Thanksgiving thru New Year’s).

Students are the future of the welding industry here in Alaska and AWS recognizes this. That is why AWS invites students wanting to expand their welding knowledge and take a more active role in their careers to get more involved with the welding community. AWS Alaska Section encourages and supports students and their endeavors. AWS appreciates the support from the Alaska welding community, parents, instructors, educators, suppliers, and contractors.

Active student participation in an AWS Student Chapter provides knowledge, networking, and valuable experience for career and personal development. Being an Active Student Member with an AWS Student Chapter is an added benefit when applying for AWS Foundation Scholarships.
