January 23, 2020:
This section meeting was held at SMT Co. in Raleigh, NC where we were treated to dinner followed by a full plant tour which included their state of the art paint / powder coat line. We then spent time in their weld shop where we got to see their recent addtion of robotic welding being put to work, as well as numerous manual welding stations in operation.
