Greetings welding community,

I want to thank all that attended our first Fish Fry, post-COVID. It felt great to witness the fellowship amongst our members. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day at Bennett’s Creek Park. I’d like to thank the board for putting together such a successful gathering. A special thanks to Mike Konrad for manning the frying station. Mike’s experience in the restaurant industry was a tremendous help in keeping our trays from running empty.

The Tidewater Section is excited to have Acoustical Sheetmetal as our September
presentation. Acoustical Sheetmetal is a manufacturer located in Virginia Beach. This meeting will be held September 15th. We have an important change. We will be
meeting at The Hyatt Place, 1905 Coliseum Drive, Hampton.

The Tidewater Section annual golf outing will be held October 14th, 2022, at Sleepy
Hole Golf course in Suffolk. Please add this date to your calendars and plan to attend.

Our section is always looking for new faces to join our executive/planning committee. If you have any interest in joining, please let any board member know and we will add you to our meeting distribution list. We are also looking for meeting and/or tour ideas for our events. If you have any suggestions, please reach out to any of our board members listed in this bulletin.
