Recap: AWS STL Outstanding Student Night – Apr 21st

April 21, 2022 – Jefferson College
Once again, we had the opportunity to acknowledge the area’s top students at our annual student night. We are asked each of our schools and union halls to select one student from their welding program as their most outstanding welding student of the year.
The AWS – St. Louis Section board members feel that selecting one outstanding student from each program will help to promote student involvement and participation in the American Welding Society.
It was great to see one student from each of our schools recognized for their achievements. Each instructor had the opportunity to introduce their student they selected.
The AWS STL would like to congratulate the following outstanding students:
Ryan Odgen – Boilermakers Local 27
Jeff Glover – Iron Workers Local 392
Christian Feeney – Iron Workers Local 396
Brendan McLaughlin – Jefferson College
Owen Cullen – Jefferson College ATS
Zack Stevens – Kaskaskia College
Ian Wilder – Lewis and Clark Community College
