Tour of L.E. Sauer Machine Company

Click here for all the details.

Dear Members,

Founded in 1926, L.E. Sauer Machine began as a job shop machine shop in downtown St. Louis within the shadow of the present day Gateway Arch. They grew in the 1950s pioneering a line of innovative products for the corrugated box industry known as the Sauer System and moved to St. Louis County. Under the direction of the third generation, Warren Sauer, it has expanded its CNC capabilities and added laser cutting, fabricating, and heat treating. This has allowed for almost complete in-house control of production of Sauer System Parts and have made them a single source supplier for many of their customers. With the fourth generation now involved, Peter Sauer, the future of the company is secure as it invests in the latest equipment and technology with the mission of continuing the legacy of manufacturing in America.

The tour is open to the first 30 people over 16 years of age. No shorts or open-toed shoes. RSVP is required if you would like to attend.
