The AWS Reading Section hosted a Past Chairman’s Social and Awards Dinner on November 15, 2019.
This event was to gather the sections Past Chairman, to socialize, reminisce and connect with the board and award recipients. Several past Chairman attended and enjoyed a dinner provided by the section and participated in the awards ceremony. Awards were handed out to the following individuals: Student Chapter Member Award to Karl Machamer, Dalton E. Hamilton Memorial, CWI of the Year, District Award to Marguerite M. Moretz, AWS Foundation, Welding Competition Scholarship to Caleb Rapp. A newly created award was presented to its namesake, Francis A. Butkus.
