January 2019 Meeting Notice

Greetings AWS Puget Sound Olympic Section Members and Friends,

Below are the details of our upcoming meeting.

DESCRIPTION

Our January 10th meeting will be a tour of the filling station for industrial gases at Airgas in Renton, and this will include a catered dinner prior to the tour. Additionally, we will have a discussion about the global helium crisis during/after dinner. Matt Miller is the plant manager and will provide some additional information from a safety perspective.

The dinner will start at 6 pm, and the tour of facility will begin at 7 pm. The Airgas facility is located at 1198 SW 10th st Renton, WA 98057

Attention AWS members
This coming March we will be hosting a national level conference on Welding to Code Compliance at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. The conference will cover topics ranging from D1.8 Seismic to Aerospace and more.
