Event Summary: The Pittsburgh section held a student day at the Steamfitters training center which allowed students from area High Schools to attend the awards presented to the student weld off winners. The speaker Dennis Klingman performed welding repairs at NASCAR events thru Lincoln Electric. Dennis was accompanied by Jamie Borkowski, Lincoln Electric Special Advisor. The AWS Cleveland Section was represented by Arthur Schnitzer of Airgas who participated financially in helping with this event. Several vendors attended with equipment for demonstrations that the students were able to use. The vendors were:
