Event Summary: Jim Sekely gave a presentation on Standard Welding Procedure Specifications (SWPS) and the associated Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) that supports them. Also discussed was the format, application, and joint design. Jim is a member of the Welding Research Council, NBIC Committee, several AWS committees including the Technical Activities Committee (TAC) and the TAC Rules Committee (TACR). A question and answer session followed.
