Event Summary: Our NCFL Section 188 Annual Welding Competition at College of Central Florida in Chiefland FL. We had 9 schools compete. Bradford High School, Dixie County High School. Columbia High School, College of Central Florida, Santa Fe College, Marion Technical College, Marion Technical Institute, North Florida Technical College and Big Bend Technical College.
1st Place – Brett Jones, Big Bend Technical College, 2nd Place – Richard Tyre, Big Bend Technical College, 3rd Place – Connor Valentine, Dixie County High School.
We had an amazing turn out with many sponsors donating welding hoods, grinders, hats, shirts just to name a few.
