Event Summary: Mr. Jeremy Larson with the Boeing Company arranged a plant tour of the Boeing operations located within the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Participants were provided with an informative experience by seeing the many steps involved in the process of assembling the vessels and connecting equipment required to build the fuel storage and delivery systems of the worlds largest rocket stage. The AWS New Orleans Section would like to thank The Boeing Company and all those involved in making the arrangements for the Members of the AWS New Orleans Section to participate in the plant tour, as well as the Boeing Workers employed at the Michoud Facility, for their everyday contributions in supporting a safe and viable space exploration program. We are honored to have been able to see what you do.
