The AWS New Orleans Section held it’s 16th Annual Student Welder Competition on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at New Orleans Pipe Trades in Metairie, Louisiana. Students from Delgado Community College, Nunez Community College, and New Orleans Pipe Trades participated in the event. The New Orleans Section would like to thank New Orleans Pipe Trades (NOPT) for hosting the event and Entergy Louisiana, ESAB Welding and Cutting, Lincoln Electric, NOPT, Rougarou BBQ, and District 9 Director, Cal Pepper for assisting the Section with donations for the event.
