AWS New Orleans Section hosted it’s March 2022 Section General Meeting on March 15, 2022 at the Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 60 Assembly Hall. Gas & Supply,Inc., Ricky (Mousey) Chiasson, President sponsored the meeting and provided door prizes for all students in attendance. AWS National President, Dr. W Richard Polanin was our guest speaker and gave a great presentation about the lifelong benefits offered by the welding industry along with information on the latest news from AWS National. District Director, Cal Pepper and District At-large Director, Mike Skiles presented District Awards to several members. Attendance was great with about forty members and guest participating in our first in-person meeting of 2022. We also want to thank our sponsor for providing the food that was catered by Rougarou BBQ.
