October General Meeting Update
“Acetylene vs Alternative Fuel”

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019

Greetings AWS New Orleans Section Members and Friends,

We hope you can participate in AWS New Orleans Section’s 2nd Meeting of the 2019−2020 schedule, today, Tuesday, October 22, 2019.

AWS New Orleans Section is “fired up” to have Mr. Todd Torranto with the Harris Products group stepping in at the last minute to discuss “Acetylene vs Alternative Fuel”.

This should be a “heated match” with participants weighing in from both sides. The old go to “Acetylene” or the “New Alternative Fuels” being offered up to the Industry today? Come out and enjoy a night with your colleagues, do a little networking and enjoy a free meal. You may even learn something new.

This is a FREE meeting and is open to anyone with an interest in the Welding Industry. We will have a 50/50 with proceeds going to Section Student Activities. Door prizes provided by The Lincoln Electric Company.

We also want to thank Mr. Curtis Mezzic, Business Manager for the Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 60, for sponsoring tonight’s meeting and Local 60’s continued support for the New Orleans Section.
