View /Download the Meeting Flyer for Additional Details

Early College Opportunities Magnet High School is a small, specialized school located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The school focuses on Auto Technologies, Auto Collision, Welding, Building Trades, Horticulture, Architectural Design, and Information Technologies. Students can choose from a wide array of classes that lead to certification in many different trades. In addition to multiple certifications, students are encouraged to enroll in our dual credit programs that we have with the Santa Fe Community College and San Jon. Students actively gain college credit while enrolled in high school.

Early College provides a conduit from high school to the local community for our students. Through an intricate process of shadowing and internships, our students graduate from our school directly into jobs in Santa Fe. They also continue their education with our local colleges. This is important as our students continue to grow academically while bolstering the local economy.

As part of the AWS Section 75 Q&A session, we are asking industry members to share examples and background of how welding has been part of their life.

All are welcome (both Members & Nonmembers)
