Event Summary: Section 137 held their April meeting at Coastal Carolina Community College where Mark Sapp, Section Vice Chair, gave a presentation for students seeking further opportunities that advance their welding careers through AWS Certification programs. Afterwards, Rudy Simone gave a tour of the College’s Mobile Welding Training Lab. The lab accommodates ten students at a time, with desks and classroom tools for training. The District and Section leadership are grateful for the chance to promote the American Welding Society as a partner for success.
