Dear Members and Friends,
For our second meeting, Tomasz Andraka from Lincoln Electric will give a discussion on welding distortion and practical ways to minimize it. We are grateful to have Alabama Pipe Welders Academy hosting again. The topic of discussion is based on a section of Omer Blodgett and Duane Miller’s work of welded connections. Topics will include: what is weld distortion, reasons for distortion, and a broad overview of methods of controlling distortion. As this is a technical presentation, this meeting will count as credit for continuing education.

Registration begins at 6:00pm.
Dinner will be served at 6:30pm in a “boxed” style as a safety measure.
Presentations will begin at 6:45pm.
