AWS Mobile Section October Meeting:Alabama Roll Products Tour Thursday, October 19th – 6:00 PM CDT |
Welcome Everyone!   This month our October meeting will be held at Alabama Roll Product in Theodore. They are a family-owned business since 1990 and have over 50 years of knowledge all based in heavy fabrication for the Marine Oil Industry, Paper Industry and, Construction Industry. They specialize in fabrication and heavy plate rolling. They are ABS and Lloyd’s of London certified worldwide. They operate under a 60,000 sq. ft. roof which allows them to work uninhibited by the weather. They export products to the Middle East, Asia, and Saudia Arabia.  A special thanks goes out to Alabama Roll Products for not only hosting our meeting, but also sponsoring our food for this meeting.  Our speaker for the evening will be Mr. Gilbert Diaz. Mr. Diaz is second generation and has been president of the company since 2003.  In addition to the company presentation, Mr. Diaz will provide us with a tour of the facility.  PPE REQUIREMENTS – For those wishing to partake in the tour, closed toe shoes and safety glasses are required!  STUDENTS – Make sure you continue to attend the meetings.  As we have done in the past, we will be offering special prizes at the end of the year to the students who attended the most meetings. Also, students we encourage you to sign up for an AWS membership.  Student membership in now FREE!  It costs you nothing to join, but everything to gain. |
