October Section Meetings – Scary Moovy Revival

This month, our Section is hosting 3 meetings in a row to show off this state of the art technology.

Our new Section Sponsor XIRIS will be introducing us to their latest automated solutions and weld camera technology for quality control and engineering. With over 25 years of design and production experience, their in-house Software, Electronics, Mechanical and Optical designers develop highly specialized machine vision products for process and quality control for a variety of industries.

Thursday’s event: November 1st, 5:30 PM, College of the Canyons at
26455 Rockwell Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355.

Park in Lot # 13, pay at kiosk, and walk to Towsley Hall where the welding shop is located. See map provided.

And finally… the students’ turns to scare the heck out of us! Oh, wait, they do that every time they weld! HAR HAR HAR.  Join us for a fun meeting of demos and a tour of COC’s welding lab. Yes, you can weld too… if you sign your life away (THE WAIVER).
