-Discuss Section Goals - Establishing an Education Committee with a purpose to help standardize welding education, with an objective to tie welder training to industry standards (Welding Codes)
- Establishing a Certification Committee with a purpose to help improve AWS Certification Programs with the objective to tie certification with education
- Establishing a Scholarship Committee with the purpose of awarding Scholarships with an objective to assist recipients to achieve their career goals, improving the workforce
- Establishing Industry Partners to network with an objective of bridging the gap between employers and skilled workforce, and to raise funds to achieve Section Goals
