We hope this email finds you well. It’s time for 2024 elections for the AWS Long Beach / Orange County section executive committee open positions. A section nominating committee was formed and proposed the following regular nominees to fill the open positions for the next term (June 1st 2024 – May 31st 2026):
Chair – Charlene Newman
Treasurer – Michael Lannom
Nominees for the open positions will also be accepted by petition.
If you are interested in running for an open position, please reply to this email by March 20th at 11:59 PM with the following:
Completed Nomination by Petition for Executive Committee Position Form self-nomination for an executive position (see attached form).
You are required to have an active non-student membership in the Long Beach / Orange County Section.
10 signatures of members in good standing from Long Beach/Orange County AWS section supporting your nomination (page 2 of attached form).
Note that student members are not eligible to nominate or serve in executive positions.
