Recap: Fabricator Olympics 2024

Event Summary: A unique competition for welders and fabricators to demonstrate their skills. The first round of events were timed utilizing various skills. The first round of events narrowed the competition from 35 competitors down to 5 competitors who competed in a welding and cutting project. The event ran from 8AM until 6:30PM. Companies such as Lincoln Electric and local gas supplier Wilson Products and several more, sponsored the event.

Section chairs and educators manned an AWS table to speak with guests about the benefits of AWS, help students sign up for membership and provide free literature, pens, stickers and other merchandise.
