Students made various projects from blueprints to demonstrate their knowledge and welding skill sets. Projects include the PA Keystone, a lifting lug, aluminum pipe to pipe (GTAW), 3G D1.1 E7018, and a small pressure vessel using both GMAW and GTAW. Students knowledge was also tested via SENSE tests in the thermal areas.

Students and their instructors posed for a photo opt before parting was at the end of the day. An awards banquet will take place in three weeks to announce the overall winner. AWS president Dr. Polanin will be present for the ceremony.
