Join us for an educational night, as we kick off the AWS Nashville Section 2022/2023 meeting year at World Testing (Mt. Juliet, TN) with a hybrid “Weldability of Dissimilar Metals” technical discussion. The presenter will be Daryush (Dary) K. Aidun, Ph.D., Clarkson University. Daryush, an AWS (2021) and ASME Fellow, has been a staff member of the Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) Dept. at Clarkson University (Potsdam NY) since 1982, an MAE Professor since 2000, and served as MAE Department Chair from 2005 to 2015. Daryush’s educational accomplishments include:
Daryush received his American Welding Society Life Member Certificate in 2019 and has won the various AWS awards. Daryush’s works have been recognized by the AWS in the form of AWS awards including the MacKay-Helm Award, Adams Memorial Membership Award, William Spraragen Award, along with multiple A.F.
