Educators: Join Us on 6/13 for a Welding Instructors Conference

Welding Instructors Conference

Monday, June 13th – Friday, June 17th

Attention Welding Educators!

Welding Instructors Conference coming! This will be an event in which you learn some, share some, and build relationships with other instructors interested in sharing this great trade of welding.

We are all different with different backgrounds and abilities. Come and share yours with others to help them expand their knowledge of the wide world of welding!
This conference is intended to be a tool to help welding educators improve their skills and abilities related to providing quality instruction and also provide a networking opportunity that can help them continue in their professional development for years to come.

The conference will consist of presentations, discussions and demonstrations by instructors and industry professionals. This event will also include shop time for welding and sharing how we weld and how we teach others to weld. This is not a “Just sit and Listen” type of meeting. Group discussion and sharing your thoughts will be the most valuable content of the meeting.

The shop will be open and used for demonstrations and sharing. Bring clothes suitable for a little welding if you have something you might want to share or something you might want to learn. We will have PPE including welding hoods.
This meeting is sponsored by Greeneville City Schools/Greene Technology Center and the AWS Holston Valley Section. We are currently looking for additional sponsors and presenters from companies that may provide services or equipment useful for welding educators. A few spots are left as of this announcement.
