Section Meeting

6/22 – Hirebotics Presentation

Part 1- Beginning at 5:​00 PM, section officers will meet to discuss activities for the upcoming section year and current section business. This is an open agenda. This meeting will be open to the general membership.

Part 2-At 6:​00 PM, Food will be provided (BBQ is the plan but still working). Please Register early if you plan on eating so we know how much to order.

Part 3-At 7:​00 PM, We will have a presentation and/or demonstration from Hirebotics from Nashville TN. This will be a great opportunity to observe a welding robot setup and programmed in less than 30 minutes and this can be done by a welder. This could make the ability for skilled and semi-skilled welders to increase production on small run items while working alongside a cobot.

Automation is here. We can embrace it and become part of it, or get left behind.
Even for organizations with existing industrial robots , this could be a useful tool.

Covid-19 precautions will be based upon the requirements of Greene County Tennessee.
