We will meet online to discuss this past year, future goals of the section, and nomination of officers. This meeting will be conducted online. If you would like to nominate someone for a position, you may do so by contacting any section officer listed on the section website at https://awssection.com/holstonvalley/.

 

We have had an interesting year and we have the opportunity to promote welding professionalism in our area next year. If you would like to be a part of that, feel free to contact a section officer and indicate that you would like to serve in some capacity in the section.

 

Upcoming Event Note- There will be a Welding Instructors Conference conducted the week of 21 June 21 at the Greene Technology Center in Greeneville TN. This will be a multi day event with different session topics for each day. This meeting will include “shop time” so bring your Hood and Gloves! AWS Certified Welder testing will be included for participating instructors who are interested.

Planning is going on now but mark your calendar and be looking for more details in the next few days. This meeting will allow instructors to network face to face and possibly improve teaching skills to better serve students.
