We want to invite you all to swing by and visit or volunteer at our booth. This event is intended to educate young and old about what the AWS is, who we are and what we do. This is the perfect way to give back to our incredible industry and the future that revolves around welding.
We will have a 10x 20 tent with AWS info, a virtual welding simulator on one side, and live welding demonstration on the other. This year we are excited to announce that we have a fancy new pop-up tent acquired for our section by Mark Stock (Multi-Weld Service) Thank You Mark! We also have a welding demonstration area where we can park a mobile welding unit or other big stuff to display or demo. There will be Professionals from the industry, Real Weldors, Welding Students, Instructors, and our District Director Tim Kinnaman among many officers from our local sections to share our passion for this incredible industry. We have a set welding tools to raffle off (Thank You Haun Welding from West Lebanon NH) and welding helmets for give aways of some sort. Geoff Putnam is donating a stick/tig welding machine to the cause (still in planning). Thank You Geoff!
Our focus this year is to show the versatility of welding from the very smallest to the very biggest. From underwater to outer space. Hope to see you there!
This is a family friendly down home agricultural fair, rain or shine. All are welcome. The Green and Whites Section will pay admission fees for any AWS member that helps or donates to the cause.
