November 2018 Meeting Notice - Nov 8th, 2018

NOVEMBER 2018 MEETING NOTICE

Sponsored by AWS Green & White Mountains Section

Good Afternoon to all of you,

I would like to take this time to invite you to our monthly meeting for AWS.
The Green and White Mountains section is hoping to attract some new members to our Society. We all suffer the same when it comes to resources for hiring or educational goals.
Where do we find the help we need and where can they achieve the training needed to expand our production. Our meeting agenda is to seek new alliances with new members and help each other attain our individual or company goals.

This month’s meeting will be held at the Northlands Job Corps center. We have some guest speakers that will share new advances in the welding industry.

  • Sam DiPasquale of Lincoln Electric will discuss new products being developed and consumables updates.
  • Sue Clark of Northlands Outreach and admissions will share the History of Job Corps and the plans for the future.
  • Advanced Pipe Welding students will be sharing the skills and training from AWS online Library program.
  • Phil Whitman and members of AWS will be on hand to discuss the potentials of how AWS can assist with personal goals or company participation.

We would also like to share our new facility for Advanced Pipe Welding. Being a member allows us to share time with tours of various facilities and share our knowledge with others.

Last month’s meeting was at the  Lake Champlain Maritime Museum with hands on Black smith training. We would like to have more of these fun and rewarding trainings and with the help of all of us we can achieve anything.

Welding builds our future. It is in our hands to stay on top of our ever changing world.
