The AWS Florida West Coast Section hosted their first In-Person section meeting in nearly two years while also hosting a virtual component, a “Hybrid Meeting”. The main business conducted at the meeting was to formally recognize our members who have achieved Section and District awards.
Brad Wickline, the Florida West Coast Chairman was honored to present the five awards. Two awards from the 2019-2020 year were awarded to Jeff Green for Dalton E. Hamilton Memorial CWI of the Year for the Florida West Coast Section. These awards were not awarded during the 2020 year due to Covid-19
Brad was also honored to present three awards from the 2020-2021 year. Tyler Ward as awarded the Private Sector Instructor District Award, Jonathan Gasparovich was awarded the Howard E. Adkins Memorial Instructor Membership award, and Daryl Peterson was awarded the Section Meritorious award for his dedicated service as the past Section Chairman.
