Event Summary: The plant tour started with summary of how the company was started by Kristen’s grandfather, and how the company has grown as a family owned company. Many the people have worked there 20 years, 30 years, or more, and do so because of the management pride and the company culture of employee value. Silver Hawk Fabrication designs, engineers, fabricates, paints, and installs components for concrete silos and large scale hydraulic truck and trailer dumpers across the Midwest. The tour was very impressive, and ended with a group discussion on how to attract and keep the next generation of welders for their workforce, but also industry wide.
