Event Summary: Steel Day at Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc. in Federalsburg Maryland was a collaboration between AWS and AISC with Airgas, Miller, Select Arc, Esab, Lincoln, and Crystal Steel all making presentations of technology and processes involved in the fabrication of Structural Steel. The Careers in Welding Mobile exhibit held a virtual Welding Competition with a thousand dollar scholarship going to the winner. Airgas, Miller, Select Arc, and Crystal Steel all provided prizes whose winners were decided by raffle.
Participating schools were: Parkside High School, PolyTech High School, Worwic Community College, Chesapeake College, Sussex Technical High School, and Dorchester Career and Technology Center
