AWS District One Director, Tim Kinnaman, (T.C. The presentation took the audience through the history of welding, it’s evolution of welding processes, codes and standards, and the value it brought to the manufacturing industry during the WW I and WW II periods in history, along with the introduction of Radiography Inspection in ensuring the safety of these products.

In attendance was special guest Jay Jones, a current AWS Vice President, AWS BOD member, a member of the AWS Foundation Board and Chair of the grants committee.
He was presented a District One duffle bag and water bottle as a token of appreciation.
