Recap: Connecticut Section Audit Review

The AWS Connecticut Section 057 was selected this year from District 1 to review their financial operations. The meeting was held at the La Luna Restaurant in New London, Connecticut. The dinner lasted about 1 hour and a half with excellent conversation and getting to know a little bit more from everyone on a personal basis. Ilya Gekhman of the Center of Audit and Advisory generously picked up the tab for a very elegant meal. Thank you, Ilya. The Financial Audit only lasted about a half hour with no complications. The suggestions were well taken with minimal adjustments to be made to an already excellent well maintained operational system by the Connecticut Section Officers.In my personal opinion this was extremely helpful and necessary to show how transparent the AWS Sections are running the Section Financial operational responsibilities.
