January is our Chattanooga Section Student Night. This is an evening where our members show their support for the future generations of welding. The students that enroll in welding programs today are the lifeline to tomorrow. It is important that these students are mentored and armed with the knowledge from previous generations while adapting to new technology to meet todays demands in industry.
Sequoyah High School is the only official AWS Student Chapter in our section. This year students from Sequoyah will be hosting student night at Chattanooga State.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Student Welding Competition at Sequoyah High School on February 29th.
We look forward to seeing everyone there!
