The PG&E Construction Welding Team Will Present

The PG&E Construction Welding team will present an overview of our natural gas system from pipeline to consumer. Next, we will cover the welding aspect of natural gas pipeline work to include processes and welder qualifications. The team will also provide an overview of our apprentice welding program and discuss potential career opportunities and how to apply for those positions. Lastly time permitting we will give a demonstration on the most common type of welding used in the pipeline industry, downhill SMAW.
