Central Valley Section meeting attendees shared dinner before Section Chairman Randy Emery spoke to the group of mostly students and early career professionals. Mr. Emery gave a presentation on strategies for a successful career in the welding industry with a focus on the many benefits that AWS membership can provide an individual seeking to maximize their earning potential. Mr. Emery concluded by describing current opportunities for involvement in section leadership. His presentation was followed by an open discussion on topics such and CWI certification and Student scholarships.
