September 2018 Meeting Announcement

I hope everyone had a good summer; we will begin our 2018-2019 meeting schedule this year at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations located at the Port of Alexandria, 602 River Port Rd Alexandria, LA.

We will have a short meeting to discuss section news and events and we will introduce the new Central Louisiana Section executive board.

After we will tour DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations facility and observe an Aluminum pipe welding demonstration, wo bring your welding hoods. The welding demonstration will be conducted by Brandon Dubroc and Travis Roy. For those of you who have never seen aluminum spray transfer GMAW welding this will be a great demonstration and provide you with a welding process that you may not have previously experienced.
